First you’ll push the door open and be confronted with the inevitable question, did you make reservations? If yes, the owner himself will seat you and make a formal introduction on the history of the restaurant ( the restaurant dates back to 1942), the secret behind their sauces ( various ways they use oranges) and proceed to explain that evening’s menu – traditional soups, foie gras, sardines, duck, beef – all cooked fresh without the use of microwaves or freezers. Once you order you will be left to look around at all the memorabilia, start with a house aperitif cocktail and prepare yourself to be treated to a hearty and flavourful meal. Dinner for two with wine is around 70 euros.
